The lead vocalist, back-up vocalist, and lead and rhythm guitarist, and songwriter; Colt Buckelew, has been in the business for many years already. Colt was born and raised in Burnet, Texas. He started playing guitar and writing songs when he was 14 years old. Along his journey he has traveled to Nashville and come back with a bad taste in his mouth. He stayed around his hometown to help take care of his dying grandmother, and after her passing there has been nothing holding him back! :D Texas music is where he prefers to stay and with his deep, raspy voice and charmingly good looks, he has given a new face to country.

The lead vocalist, back-up vocalist, and rhythm guitarist, Tiffany Valentine, didn't start playing the guitar until May of 2011, but she took to it like a duck in water. Her Grandfather and Grandmother would have never imagined the journey that would take place by just giving her that old Indiana Colt (guitar) for a graduation gift. As she continued her education in Psychology, she advanced in the music world as well. She is now an accomplished musician showing her vocal skills and blowing folks minds away each time! It’s like a Siren; it’s so beautiful, you can’t help but to stop and listen. Now driven by her passion for music, and being blessed with a deep, bluesy, and soulful sound; she has definitely had a good start off to what could be considered a blessed career.

We are independent artists just trying to find our spot in the world. We do not seek fortune or fame; just enough acknowledgment from fans to make a decent living at what we already love to do!

We released "Cry" back in April, and have been getting great results from it. We have other songs in which show the lighter side of our country genre; Crossroads Country. We are the first in our genre with high hopes that others will follow us away from the norms of societal thoughts on this current "BubbleGum" or even "Bro" country, and move away towards a more traditional but modern type of country.

That is why we are Country's Redemption.

You won’t believe how much sound (not volume) comes off this stage! No recordings, no back tracks, just 100 % real LIVE music! Perfect for any event! This husband and wife duo will make you want to sing along and dance all night! The Colt Buckelew and the Crossroads band plays a variety of traditional country, classic rock, mixed in with our own original. "We like to give everyone a little bit of what they might want to hear". The soulful voices of both Colt and Tiffany combined with the truly professional sounds of the whole band ....or simply Colt and Tiffany’s Duo act (our most requested act)......make this band an AWESOME experience that no one should miss!

A little meet and greet from the members of Colt Buckelew and The Crossroads...

More about the Band...

Billy “Wild Child” Highsmith has been a part of the Crossroads since its beginnings in 1992. He is a valued member of the team who not only plays lead guitar, but writes songs either with Colt or by himself. Billy has been playing since he was 11 years old, he played on an acoustic guitar that was bought at a yard sale for $25.00. He grew up musically to the likes of Randy Rhoads and Van Halen, was always a fan of classic country music. Played in different bands through the 90s. In 2002, Mirror Image lucked in a show closing the night out for Doug Supernahle and won the Battle of the Bands is San Marcus and Austin in 2003. I tried out for Limp Bizquit in 2002 and was the guitar player for KXAN News story on Put your Guitar where your Mouth is Tour. I've played for bands such as, MIRROR IMAGE, Blackfoot Rising, Highdro Flash, The Texas Tain Wreck, Trial by Fire and Colt Buckelew and the Crossroads. Being a prodigy of Randy Rhoades, we sometimes have to bring him back to the country side of things, but he never gets further out of hand then allowed!

Gene Montigue Howison has been playing the drums since he was in the school band. His mother's passion for music has only fueled his motivations for wanting to further his musical career. When she passed of cancer, it only made him want to follow his dreams more. As a close friend of Colt and Tiffany, Gene started to mold around the type of music he was destined to play. He has already been to Carnagy Hall with his High School band, so imagine where he could go with the right band? WIth effortless motivation he has become one of a kind and a great aset to the Crossroads...

Although not an official band member at the moment; Michael Gebbert; AKA Monkii is a talented singer/songerwriter. Though he has not been playing the guitar long, he excels at everything he does and is an inspiration for the band. We all wish there were more people like him... He has been helping us with promotions and booking!! his lovely wife, Lacey Gebbert, is the sponsored hair stylist for the band. As talented friend of the band and stylist; she brings so much to the table...

A wonderful addition to our band is the role of sponsors; AGT is not only sponsors but lifetime friends! They play many roles in our community.

Our Five Values are: 1) American: We are Patriots and we feel blessed to have been born in this country of freedom, independence, and relative economic stability. 2) Gypsy: We are free spirits who value our individuality. 3) Visionary: We are creators, inventors, artists and dreamers who work to change our world, on a community level and in the end globally. 4) Authentic: As societies and populations merge there will be an increased desire for individual group authenticity. We are real people, standing behind a real cause, and making a real difference in our world. 5) Integrity: We are accountable to each other, as well as to society for our actions, standing upon high moral and social grounds, demanding of ourselves honesty and humility as we approach the global challenges of our age.

Soul Focus is another official sponsor of Colt Buckelew and The Crossroads. Camille Justice is the owner and never have we found such great people to have in our lives. Without their help, we might not be where we are today!

Their motto is simple:

Focusing on you, your wants, and your special moments is what I love to do. My camera and I are here to capture moments that become treasured memories.

When the band originated back in 1992, it included; Colt Buckelew, Billy Highsmith, and Duck & Johnny Harris. Colt Buckelew decided to re-start the band with Tiffany and Gene in May of 2011. It was summer of 2012 that Billy “Wild Child” Highsmith came back to the band, eventually bringing his nephew; Nicholas Highsmith.
